For 25 years, Tulare's Galaxy Theatres has brought economic boon, entertainment to Tulare

Galaxy Theatres Tulare turns 25 this week and to commemorate the milestone, staff invited local moviegoers to a party.

On Thursday, attendees were treated to 11 new movie trailers before a screening of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Privately owned, Galaxy Theatres is ranked by size in the top 10% of its industry, according to the National Association of Theatre Owners. The company has theatres in Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas, and Washington. There are two Tulare County locations: Tulare and Porterville.
