Tax Deadline Extended for Many Californians in Disaster Declared Counties

As Californians continue to recover from the series of recent storms, the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is working with federal and state agencies to inform residents and business owners about Emergency Tax Relief for Californians. Extended deadlines to file and pay taxes may be available for individuals, families and businesses who live in impacted counties.
Residents and business owners in the following counties may be eligible:
Alameda, Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, Contra Costa, Del Norte, El Dorado, Fresno, Glenn, Humboldt, Imperial, Inyo, Kern, Kings, Lake, Los Angeles, Madera, Marin, Mariposa, Mendocino, Merced, Mono, Monterey, Napa, Nevada, Orange, Placer, Plumas, Riverside, Sacramento, San Benito, San Bernardino, San Diego, The City and County of San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Luis Obispo, San Mateo, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Sierra, Siskiyou, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Tulare, Tuolumne, Ventura, Yolo and Yuba.
