Tulare County receives $1M ag skills grant

The Tulare County Workforce Investment Board announced on March 11 it has received a $1 million grant for its Ag Skills Advancement Project from the Department of Labor’s Disaster Relief National Dislocated Worker Grant Initiative.

Managed by the California Employment Development Department, this grant acknowledges the board’s track record and the importance of agriculture in the local economy. Tulare County is one of three in California awarded this funding, available through September 2026.
