TCSO Celebrates New Porterville Substation
September 21, 2023
PORTERVILLE – The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) celebrated the official opening of their new Porterville substation. Its location will significantly cut down their response time and allow them ease of access to facilities, like Porterville’s airport.
On Sept. 20, TSCO held a ribbon cutting ceremony for their new facility and allowed the press and public to tour its 18,000 square feet of recently refurbished office spaces and rooms. The building will be able to house upwards of 80 employees, which is a vast improvement from their previous 5,000 square foot office they used to share with health and human services.
Sheriff Mike Boudreaux welcomed those who attended the ceremony with a quick speech, during which he expressed his gratitude for the support of both the public and the Tulare County Board of Supervisors.
